Hannah Ann Pier

Hannah Ann Abernathy Pier, 25, of Stanley passed away on January 30, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born on August 1, 1994 to Steve and Melissa Mauney Abernathy.  She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Evelyn Abernathy.  Hannah attended Brown Town Freewill Baptist Church in her early years and later attended Catawba Heights Baptist Church.  She enjoyed life in general; playing video games,all kinds of musics, trips to the beach, hot rods, 4-wheelers but most of all loved her children and animals. 

In addition to her parents, survivors include her children, Malikai Abernathy and Halen Pier; maternal grandparents, Dorothy Lou Pruitt Leming and Kenneth and Ann Mauney; twin brother, Andrew Steven Abernathy and companion Alyson Peele; and Houston Bryant Taylor who was like a brother to Hannah.

Funeral services were held privately by the family with interment following services at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mt. Holly.
