Geneva Ellie Higgins

Geneva Ellie Higgins, 75, of Bessemer City, passed away October 18, 2014 at her residence. Ms. Higgins was born April 30, 1939 to the late Charles and Allie Harris Rathbone and is preceded in death by a son, Johnny Carl Rathbone.

Survivors include her children, Debbie, Queen, Bill Aiken, Martha Aiken and Geneva Jones. 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family is conducting a Memorial Service to Celebrate her life at 12:00 PM Saturday Dec. 6 at Bright Light Baptist Church in Bessemer City with Brother Ronnie Pressley officiating. Inurnment will be private.

Arrangements handled by Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly.
