Evelyn Louise Eldridge

Evelyn Louise Eldridge, 84, of Belmont passed away October 12, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Gaston County on November 10, 1935 to the late Hosia and Floy Young Garrison.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Everett Lee Eldridge; siblings, Rozelle Red Garrison, Betty Jean Tippens, Pauline Garrison, and Colleen Garrison.  For over 60 years, Evelyn and her late husband enjoyed traveling together and they are now traveling together again in their eternal home.  Evelyn was a member of East Belmont Church of God. 

Survivors include her daughter, Athena E. Creswell of Belmont; sons, Dennis Lee Eldridge and wife Christy of Greensboro, and Gregory Everett Eldridge and wife Connie of Belmont; sister, Berline Garrison; grandchildren, Benjamin, Dara and husband Nolan, Erin and husband Matt, Cameron, and Madison; and great grandchildren, Brady, Brooklynn, Brynnlee, Atlas, and Jackson.

Friends may view Mrs. Eldridge at the funeral home on Friday, October 16, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.

Funeral services are being held privately for the family.
