Edward "Ed" Frank Case

Edward "Ed" Frank Case, Jr., passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare System Lincoln.  Ed was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on September 15, 1968 to Betty Walker Case and the late Edward Frank Case, Sr.  He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Jack Farris.  Ed was a member of Real Life Church in Stanley.  He loved the water, especially the beach.  He was a mechanic and loved cars and motorcycles.  He also enjoyed cooking but most of all, he enjoyed caring for his family and friends.  Ed was also very active in AA and had a close AA family.  He was always there for his friends and family in times of need and will always be remembered for his care and love.

In addition to his mother, Ed is survived by his wife, Connie Case; daughter, Brittaney Faith Case; step-children, Lawson Michelle Stanley and Linden Claire Stanley; brother, Wray Abercrombie; sisters, Cynthia Jo Struebig and Tammy Sue Moffitt; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate Ed's life will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Pastor Mike Davis and Rev. Carroll Moffitt officiating.  A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.  Burial will be held privately.
