Dorothy Hubbard Hicks

Dorothy Hubbard Hicks, 64, of Lowell, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 18, 2015. Ms. Hicks was born in Gaston County on June 1, 1951 to the late Burl and Lacy Hubbard. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Howell. Dorothy loved the Lord and was a dedicated member of her church, Omega Faith Fellowship Church in Hickory. She enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, the beach but most of all her grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving sons, Eric Hicks and wife Geraldine and Christopher Hicks and wife Tina. 3 grandchildren, Kristin, Travis and Emily and a great grandchild which is due in June 2016.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, December 28 at Benson Funeral Services in Mt. Holly with Reverend Bob Roark officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be Private.
