Dorila Reyes

Dorila Reyes, 85, of Mt. Holly Passed away on Monday March 6, 2017 at her residence. Ms. Reyes was born on June 19, 1931 in Honduras. She was also preceded by her husband Romulo Reyes as well as her parents and 2 sons, Luis Romulo Reyes and Nelson Osvaldo Reyes. Dorila was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, painting and loved her social clubs. She was a loving person to everyone and especially to her grandchildren. Survivors include her loving daughter Dunia Reyes Causin and her husband Mike. Special granddaughter Rebecca Ballman which was like a daughter to Dorila. Other grandchildren Elena, Daniela, Nelson, Melania and great grandson Andres as well as many extended family members in Honduras. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday March 11 at 11:15 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Denver, NC with Father Carman Malacari Officiant. Visitation from 10:30-11:00 also at the church. Public visitation will be Friday at Benson Funeral Services in Mt. Holly from 6:00-8:00 PM with Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. Inurnment services will be held at a later date in Honduras.
