Donnie Lynn Flowers

Donnie Lynn Flowers, 71, of Gastonia passed away February 10, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. Don was born on July 24, 1951 in Charlotte, NC to the late George and Clara Beaty Flowers. He was also preceded in death by his former wife Karen Page Flowers; brother, Mike; and his sister, Linda.

Don was retired from Freightliner Trucking with close to 40 years of service. He loved his family as well as the beach, camping on occasion and the outdoors in general. He learned to enjoy football also.

Survivors include his son, Adam Flowers and wife Elizabeth; Sister, Lore’ Flowers and partner Tom Wetzel; Brother, Tommy Flowers and wife Teri. Grandchildren, Tyler, Bella, Rilee and Mason; Longtime friend, David Starr; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 15, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
