Donald Edward Groezinger

Donald Edward Groezinger, 87, of Mt. Holly passed away February 9, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  He was born on November 15, 1934 to the late Arnold and Helen Groezinger.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Groezinger and brothers, William and Robert Groezinger.  Before his wife's passing, they attended church at Limestone Presbyterian Church in Gaffney, SC where he sung in the church choir.  He loved to sing and had a beautiful voice.  He was once part of a Barbershop musical style chorus.  He also enjoyed volunteer work at soup kitchens and The Salvation Army.

Survivors include his son, John "Chip" Groezinger (Lisa); daughter, Sue Fletcher (Ben Feliciano); grandchildren, Max Fletcher, Matthew Fletcher (Sierra Blake), and Allison Pruett; great grandson, Myles Fletcher; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Limestone Presbyterian Church, 109 S Limestone St, Gaffney, SC 29340.
