Devin Valentine

Devin Hunter Valentine, 23, of Mt. Holly passed away on January 26, 2021 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.  He was born on December 16, 1997 to Wendy Ann Ham and the late Stephen Gregory Valentine.  He is also preceded in death by his grandfather, Lenwood Ham and great grandparents, Johnny and Estelle Ham.  Devin was an all-around lovable kind of guy.  Everyone loved him.  He was stubborn at times but at other times was a "goofball" with a great sense of humor.  Devin loved to play basketball every single day and the children loved him.  He also loved to eat!  He dearly loved his PawPaw Ham and admired him.

In addition to his mother, Wendy Ham, Devin is survived by his grandmother, Ann Ham; sisters, Kasey Dagnen and Kristina Valentine; brothers, Chris Dagnen and Steven Valentine; aunts and uncles, Angel and Kyle Nolen and Lenwood Ham Jr. and wife Tabitha; and nieces and nephews, Levi Nolen, Lilly Nolen, Katie Dorsey, Nathan and Noah Dagnen, Brayden Valentine, Hunter Valentine, and David Jacob Ham.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Devin's life will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Rev. Dewey Moore officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
