The Corner of Heaven
When we were kids we played hide and seek
I would count to ten and try not to peek
I would always find you in the corner of the house
Standing there smiling...being quiet as a mouse...
I would always find you in the corner of the room
I never had to search...I knew I'd find you soon
I know you had to leave...it was your time to go...
You will forever be in our hearts and we will miss you so...
When it's our time to leave...we won't have to question...
We will meet You and the Good Lord...in the Corner of Heaven...
Love,
Your best friend of 50 years
J.B. Madison
