Debra Auten

Debra Marie Auten, 38, of Mount Holly, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Gaston County on April 22, 1982, the daughter of James Robert Auten, Sr. and Carolyn Cagle Auten. She was preceded in death by a brother, Shannon Michael Auten. Debra was a member of Catawba Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to her day programs, talking on the phone, and especially playing with her dog, Choco. She loved her Mother, Father, and Brother dearly. Debra was loved by everyone she met and also loved everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, Debra is survived by her brother, James Robert Auten, Jr.; aunts, Susie Cook, Sheila Schuler, Becky Jordan, Teresa Gondek; uncles, Terry Auten, Robbie Cagle, Steve Cagle and wife Gwen, and Chris Cagle and wife Laura; canine companion, Choco; and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 P.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services of Mount Holly.
