David Shields

David Roy Shields I, 56, of Stanley passed away September 9, 2021 at his residence.  He was born in England on January 25, 1965 to the late Delmas "Henry" Shields and Joan Clinton Shields.  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Mark Shields.  When he was younger, David enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his son, David Roy Shields II; nephew, Justin Shields; and grandchildren, Gabriel and Nadia Shields.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Sherman Branch officiating.
