Darrell Lee Rudisill

Darrell Lee Rudisill, 73, of Mount Holly passed away February 14, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  Darrell was born in Gaston County on May 10, 1944 to the late Lewis and Natalie Jackson Rudisill.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Rudisill.  Darrell was a father for many and was loved by everyone he knew.

Survivors include his sons, Danny Rudisill, Scott Rudisill, Brian Rudisill, Michael Rudisill, Darrin Rudisill, Jeff Rudisill and wife, Amanda, Larry Snyder and wife, Renee, and Allen Cope; daughters, Leighanne Gray, Becky Conder and husband, Steve, Beth Ayers and husband Kenneth; brothers, Eddie Rudisill, Barry Rudisill and wife, Delores; and sister, Karen Rudisill; 22 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service to celebrate Darrell’s life will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, with Rev. Kenneth Ayers officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
