Danny D. Owens I

Danny D. Owens I of Ranlo,  65, passed away at Accordius Health Gastonia on February 24, 2024. He was born in Gaston County on February 7, 1959. Danny was known for his love of electronics, computers, and games. An avid Star Trek fan, Danny collected Star Trek memorabilia and also cherished his dirt bike riding adventures in his spare time. Danny was most proud of his grandchildren whom he adored dearly. He will be remembered for his kind heart and unwavering love for his family.

Danny is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Owens in 2021, and his brother, Jeff Rice. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to be carried on by his surviving family members.

Survivors include his sons, Danny Owens II (Alicia) and Jameslee Owens (fiance, Brianna); sister, Colleen Rice; brothers, Terry Rice and David Rice; six grandchildren, Michael, Noah, Lexi, Jamison, Lily, and Caleb; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Danny D. Owens I will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing he was dearly loved and will never be forgotten.
