Daniel "Danny" L. Hatley

Daniel "Danny" L. Hatley, 65, of Charlotte passed away peacefully Sunday August 25th at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hatley was born in Mecklenburg County on October 3, 1947 to Helen Kulp Hatley and the late Donald E. Hatley. He was a self employed paint contractor and was a U.S. Marine Veteran.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Hatley is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patsy "Pat" Young Hatley. Sons; Marcus David-Lynn Hatley, Daniel Sigmon Hatley and Jeffrey "Jeff" Hatley. Sister; Donna Martin and brother, Donnie Hatley and also 6 grandchildren; Megan, Jeffrey, Morgan, Marcus, Ian and Gretchen.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 28 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services with Chaplain Daryl Diamond officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 PM also at the funeral home.

The family wants to extent special thanks to the Hospice Angels from Community Homecare & Hospice, all the doctors and loved ones who have been a blessing.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made in Mr. Hatley's memory to the family.
