Clara Elizabeth Willcoxen Price

Clara Elizabeth Willcoxen Price, 83, of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Huntersville. She was born in Point Pleasant, WV on October 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Richard and Goldia Love Willcoxen. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayland Price, and her sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia Judith and Robert Cline. Clara was retired from Wachovia Financial and had served as a Cubscout leader. She enjoyed researching her family tree, gardening and canning fruits and vegetables, bird watching, and working in her flower beds. She loved to attend family reunions and she loved animals. Clara also served her Country in the United States Marine Corps.

Clara is survived by her sons and daughters-in-laws, Christopher Sterling Price and Elizabeth of Stanley, David Mark Price and Judy of Iron Station; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol Ann Caston and Charles of Hardee, VA, Karen Alexander and Ronald of Gastonia, Linda Carney and Bill of Point Pleasant, WV; sister, Kathy Martyn of Thurman, OH; brothers, William Richard Willcoxen "Sonny" of Thurman, OH, Larry Willcoxen of Point Pleasant, WV; grandchildren, Tiffany Brame, Wayne Helms & wife Khris, Steven Helms & wife Amanda, Eric Helms, Michelle Helms, Amanda Christian Price-Parker; great grandchildren, Rylee Brame, Mason Brame, Taylor Helms, Austin Helms, Trevor Helms, Ryland Helms, Megan Helms, Jakob Kramer, Scarlet Jessen-Parker.
