Chris M Smith

Chris M Smith, 41, of Huntersville, NC went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 30, 2023. Chris was born on January 25, 1982 to Kenneth and Karen Dunn Smith in Mecklenburg County, NC. Chris was a caring person who loved Jesus. He obsessed over people being treated fairly and never passed judgment on anyone. He loved spending time with his daughter Mya and loved fishing, as long as they were biting. One of his favorite pastimes was reading, writing and listening to Bob Dylan. Chris will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Chris  survived by his daughter, Mya Patience Smith; Sister, Kristina Carol Smith DeCeasar and husband Bryan; Brothers, Robert Scott Smith and wife Stacy, Steven Todd Smith and wife Karen, and Kenneth Bradley Smith; Aunts, Gail Hemby, Teresa Helms and Pat Ashworth and her husband Dave; Uncle, Eddie Smith and wife Patsy; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 101 Oak Grove Street, Mount Holly, NC. 28120. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to service. Inurnment will be private. Rev. Bo Riley will be officiating.
