Charlotte "Josie" Smith

Charlotte "Josie" Mitchem Smith, 85, of Mt. Holly passed away March 27, 2021 at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center.  She was born on November 26, 1935 to the late Ernest and Kathleen Rankin Mitchem.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, William "Boogie" Smith.  Charlotte loved where she lived at Mountain Island Lake and she enjoyed visiting her home at Ocean Isle Beach where she could be found sunbathing all day long on her days spent there.  Her favorite time spent was with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Alison Smith Mullis and husband Robert and Loris Smith Sinclair and husband J. David; 3 grandchildren, Britton, Andrew, and Catherine; and 2 great grandchildren, Wyatt and Everly.

Services will be held privately by the family.
