Catherine Irene Leoni

Catherine (Chieco) Irene Leoni, 79, of Belmont, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Rosedale, Queens, New York, the daughter of the late John and Catherine Ondik. Catherine loved her children and enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking, and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Fred Leoni of Belmont; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Lukas-Thompson & Guy of Belmont; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas & Marilyn Chieco of Port Richey, FL; son, Bernard Chieco of Port Richey, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Gabrielle & Alan Clark of Spring Hill, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Gina & Bob Handelong of Spring Hill, FL; daughter, Maria Juanis of Belmont; sister, Joann McClure of Grundy, VA; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and her canine companions, Buddy and Ellie Mae.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, from 1:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the home of Gabrielle & Alan Clark, 13114 Scottville Street, Spring Hill, FL 34609.

The committal ceremony will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, 10:00 A.M. at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL 33512 in section 429, site 406.
