Carson "C.A." Larry Anderson, 76, of Stanley passed away on March 13, 2024, just six days shy of his 77th birthday. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend that left a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. With a career as a skilled diesel mechanic, C.A. poured his passion into working on various vehicles, from lawn mowers to cars showcasing his talent and dedication.
Born in Pageland, SC on March 19, 1947 to the late John Lawson Anderson and Sallie Adams Anderson, C.A.'s roots ran deep in the South, shaping the kind-hearted and hardworking individual he became. C.A. leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished for years to come.
In addition to his parents, C.A. was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Ray Anderson. Survivors include his devoted wife of 44 years, Sue Anderson; his loving children Shawn Lee Anderson (Pam) and Terri Gardin (Wayne); his brother, Louis Anderson; his adored grandson Dustyn Anderson; as well as nieces and nephews who will always remember their uncle fondly. Let us not forget the extended family in South Carolina with whom he shared countless memories.
Beyond his career achievements and familial bonds, C.A. found joy in simple pleasures like spending time with his pet cat Gracie and cheering enthusiastically for Dale Earnhardt during races. His presence brought warmth to every gathering, leaving an indelible mark on all who were lucky enough to have him as part of their lives.
