Carolyn Jean Winn

Carolyn Jean Winn, 81, of Gastonia passed away October 6, 2020 at Atrium Health Charlotte.  She was born on November 1, 1938 in Hickory Grove, SC to the late Leslie and Ann Starnes.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Tony WInn.  Carolyn was a loving Mother and Grandmother and dearly loved her family.  She was a member at City Church in Gastonia.  Carolyn enjoyed the outdoors, the beach, swimming, walking, and exercising.

Survivors include her children, Michelle McDaniel of Clover, SC, Kim Hodge and husband Allen of Lake Wylie, SC, and Tony Winn of Clover, SC; sister, Brenda Stegall and husband Ted; 5 grandchildren, Katie Hodge, Alex Hodge, Scott Winn and wife Chelsea, Catherine Winn, and Gabby Winn; 3 great grandchildren, Luke, Logan, and Leia.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Rev. Steve Black officiating.  The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Interment will immediately follow services at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
