Carolyn White

Carolyn Julia Winn White, 79, of Mt. Holly passed away on January 11, 2021 at her residence.  She was born on March 13, 1941 to the late Harvey and Margaret Mitchell Winn.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie White and her son, Phillip Bentley.  Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church in Granite Falls.  She loved to read, loved her pets, and enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include her daughter, Julia WIlliamson (Tim Glasscock); brother, John Winn (Joyce); and two grandchildren, Joseph and Daniel.

Services were held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.  Also, gifts in memory of Carolyn White may be made to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, PO Box 571021, Winston Salem, NC 27157-1021.  Please include a note or memo that your memorial donation gift is in loving memory of Carolyn White and your gift will be directed to support Discovery Fund at the Cancer Center.
