Carol Ann Groezinger

Carol Ann Groezinger, 79, of Gaffney, SC, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at her daughters home in Mt. Holly, NC.  Mrs. Groezinger was born on September 19, 1940 in Williamsport, PA to the late John Francis Marquette and Lauretta Bowers Marquette.  Carol was a member of Limestone Presbyterian Church in Gaffney.  She was a Registered nurse and had her Master's degree in Business Administration.  She loved to read; sometimes reading a book a day.  She also loved to travel with her husband Don and enjoyed baking.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Don Groezinger; son, John Arnold Groezinger and his wife Lisa; daughter, Sue Fletcher and her husband Benjamin; grandchildren, Max and Matthew Fletcher, and Allison Pruett; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly, NC.  Inurnment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Limestone Presbyterian Church, 109 S. Limestone St., Gaffney, SC 29340 or to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Ave., Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 29207.
