Carol Ehambe

Carol Ann Ehambe, 70, of Gastonia, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 21, 1950, the daughter of the late Carl Henry Johnson and Louise Christine Hardwick. Carol was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gastonia; and the Order of the Eastern Star "The Guiding Light" Chapter 255. She loved bowling and was very competitive at playing cards. She was a past Sunday School teacher and volunteered in many schools. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a son, Talib Hasan.

Carol is survived by her children, Charles Lamar Moses, Cynitra Moses Anderson, Nafeesa Hasan; siblings, Veta Renee' Brown, Diane Honeycutt, Michael Johnson and wife Lyris; grandchildren, Christyna, Jeremiah, Joshua; and a special friend, Carol Ross Stacks, whom she has known since elementary school.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2710 Redbud Drive, Gastonia, NC 28054. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. prior to the service.
