Carlton Whitlow

Carlton Whitlow, 85, of Mt. Holly passed away on September 12, 2020 at Atrium Health Pineville.  He was born in Danville, Va. on October 15, 1934 to the late William and Gracie Saul Whitlow.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Holt Whitlow; his son, Avery Whitlow; grandson, Jonathan Whitlow; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.  Carlton was an avid fisherman and gardener who loved being outdoors.  He also took a lot of pride in being a "Paw Paw."

Survivors include his son, William Melvin Whitlow and wife Allison; sister, Juanita Choate and husband Kenneth; and 3 grandchildren, Spencer and wife Nikki, Michael, and Jake.

Services are being held privately by the family.
