Carl "Buck" Bierfischer

Carl Bierfischer, 81, of Charlotte, N.C. joined our Heavenly Father and wife, Dorothy "Pinkie" Bierfischer on Friday, July 26, 2013. He is father to Donna Beckham, Chrisy Crisp and Tracy West; Grandfather to Kelsey Gritt, Leslie Beckham and Sidney West; Great-grandfather to Libby Gritt; Step-great-grandfather to Marley and Luke Bailey and Valery and Nadia Crisp. Sons-in-law are Bob Beckham, Chip Crisp, Gary West and Grandson-in-law, Brian Gritt; all of Charlotte, NC.

Born November 2, 1932, Buck is a native of Charleston SC and planted his feet in Charlotte`s soil many years ago. He retired from Charlotte Country Day School in 1993.

He was a passionate sports fan, spending many years as a basketball referee. He loved to travel and spent the last years of his life traveling the world over.

Buck was a loyal, devoted, caring and gentle man. Though we know God has one extraordinary angel in Heaven to watch over us, he will be so deeply missed by who loved him.

The family will honor their beloved "Daddy" and "Papaw" at a private ceremony in Davidson, N.C.
