Brandon Gerard

Brandon Scott Gerard, 46, of Gastonia passed away March 6, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  He was born in New York City on February 6, 1975.  Brandon was known as being a sarcastic goof ball but was also strong willed when it came to dealing with all of his multiple medical issues including his 2 kidney transplants.  He was a member of the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland.  Brandon was a beloved father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, baking, the ocean, and traveling; especially the Bahamas and Italy,

Survivors include his parents, Al and Kathleen McGowan; fiance, Stacia Borgogna; daughters, Emily and Maggie Gerard and Isabella Ferone; brothers, Michael and Eric Gerard and Jason McGowan; and granddaughter, Cora Gerard.
