Bobby Gene Conner, Sr

Bobby Gene Conner, Sr., 74, of Gastonia, passed away December 23, 2015 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Mr. Conner was born in Rowan County on November 28, 1941 to the late Wilkie Conner and Lucille Braswell Conner. Bobby was preceded by his wife of 54 years, Vicky Ann Conner, on November 20 of this year and also his grandson Robert Panther. He was retired from Freightliner Trucking after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his son Bobby "Chip" Conner, Jr and a sister, Elaine Todd.
Memorial Services to celebrate Bobby`s life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday December 30 at Benson Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Dickie Spargo officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Inurnment will be private.
