Beverly Benfield

Beverly Bassett Benfield, 57, of Mt. Holly passed away on September 28, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born on January 26, 1964 to the late Phillip and Virginia Bassett.  Beverly loved the outdoors; especially the mountains and camping.  She enjoyed drawing and Bob Ross paintings, working puzzles, and crosswords.  She had a green thumb for her flowers and shrubs.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Garry Benfield; daughters, Sarah Sellers and Christina Benfiled; siblings, Steve Bassett, Vanessa Croft, Becky Lawson, and Laura Brahall; and grandchildren, Caden, Tabion, Alton, and Nicole.

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 4:00 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Rev. Johnny Mayberry officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
