Betty Lou Clemmer, 94 , of Lowell, NC passed away on April 1, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Betty was born in Gaston County, NC to the late Raymond and Eula Shore Keller on November 30, 1929.
Betty was a proud graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1949. In her spare time, Betty could often be found attending Day Star Baptist Church where she found solace and community.
A woman of many talents and interests, Betty enjoyed knitting beautiful creations and had a knack for cooking delicious meals for all her neighbors. Her generosity knew no bounds. She found joy in playing bingo with friends and family, as well as expressing herself through the melodies she played on the piano.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann Keisler; cherished granddaughter, Kelly Ann Carpenter and her husband Timothy and her adoring great-grandchildren, Kasey and Kaleb. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
In her journey through life's ups and downs, Betty experienced the loss of two beloved husbands. She is preceded in death by her first husband in 1961, William Joe Millon, and her second husband in 2012, Arthur Eli Clemmer. Their memories will forever hold a special place in her heart.
Betty Lou Clemmer will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and unwavering love. Her legacy lives on through those whose lives she touched with her warm spirit and gentle soul.
In lieu of flowers please plant tulips or prepare a meal for a shut-in. Betty would be honored. Arrangements will be Private by family at a later date.
