Barry Lee Whitley

Barry Lee Whitley, 51, of Bessemer City, passed away January 3, 2016 at his residence. Barry was born in Gaston County on August 21, 1964 to the late John and Nancy Kirby Whitley. Barry was an auto mechanic and loved muscle cars. He enjoyed fishing and loved music. He especially loved his family and grandchildren. He also loved his pet Dalmation, Spots.
Memorial Services to Celebrate Barry`s Life will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Bethlehem Church West Campus, 2782 Fairview Rd, Gastonia with Rev. Wavey Williams officiating. Inurnment will be held privately.
Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Donna Whitley. Children, Elizabeth Whitley and Paula Starnes and husband Justin. Grandchildren, Jaden, Aylissa, Ahlianna, Kayleigh and Katlyn. Sister Lois Allen and brother Elvis Whitley and also special best friends, Michael and Teresa Little.
