Barbara Jean Hunter

Barbara J. Hunter, age 69, of Dallas, NC passed away October 18, 2016 at her residence. Ms. Hunter was born on Gaffney, SC on January 9, 1947 to Clara Hollifield Jenkins and the late John H. Jenkins. She was also preceded by 2 brothers, Bruce and Jesse Jenkins and a sister, Christine Caulder. Barbara loved her family and enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers, cross stiching, and both the beach and the mountains.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her Son Billy Holt and wife Elaine Alexander Holt of Dallas. Sisters, Sandra Lee and Teresa Jenkins. Brothers, David Jenkins and wife Michelle and Dean Jenkins and wife Jenny. Grandchildren Trey Holt and wife Hannah Bumgardner Holt and also Dalton Holt and great grandson Liam Holt. 

Funeral Services to Celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday October 22 at Open Bible Assembly Church, 106 East Jenkins St, Dallas, NC with Rev. Charles Curtis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
