Barbara Elaine Binder, 69, Of Gastonia passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.

A native of Gastonia, she was born December 16, 1944 daughter of the late William and Lucille Groves Dennis. She was a retired RN in the I.C.U. department at the former Gaston Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are her daughter Dana Dotson; grandchildren David Kulhawik, Jordan Fulton, Courtney Huber, Zack Fulton, Shelby Dotson, Madison Varner and Cassie Varner; sister Eleanor Lollis.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Binder`s life will be held Thursday, December 18 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Benson Funeral Services. Inurnment will be private.
