Arlene Faile

Arlene Locklear Faile, 76, of Lincolnton, went to her Heavenly Home on Friday, April 7, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Faile was born in Robinson County, NC on Sept. 8, 1940 to the late Feldon and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Locklear. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Faile. She attended Conover Christian Assembly and loved fishing, cooking, the mountains and the beach. She also enjoyed her flower gardens throughout the years. She worked in the textile industry but was more known as a CNA caring for others in the healthcare industry. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by all her friends and family. Survivors include her 4 children, Chris Faile (Lori) of Lincolnton, Anthony Faile of Gastonia, Tamara Watts (Joe) of Gastonia and Austin Faile (Ashley) of Monroe; 4 Brothers, S.J. Locklear (Julie), Jim Locklear, Holland Locklear (Iris) and Jerry Locklear (Dottie); 12 grand and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Services to Celebrate Arlene’s Life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Benson Funeral Services in Mt. Holly with Chris Faile officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 6:30-8:30 also at the funeral home.
