Amanda Marie Hernandez

Amanda Marie Hernandez, age 36, of Gastonia passed away Wednesday April 26 at her residence. Amanda was born June 14, 1980 in Gaston County to Father Elton Daniel Walker and Mother Peggy Cobb Bynum. She is also preceded in death by grandparents Frank and Betty Cobb and Eunice Walker. Amanda enjoyed the beach and loved the color purple. She was presently employed with American & Efird Inc. Survivors include her father Elton Walker and stepmother Karen. Mother Peggy and stepfather Larry “Boggar” Bynum. Children, Tyler and Seth Holland and Alyssa Hinson. Sister Jessica Hernandez. Brother, Christopher Bynum and also stepsisters Kristen McCorkle, Roxanne and Chasity Walker. Also her beloved pet Chihuahua “Zacks”. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 2 at 2:00 PM at Benson Funeral Services in Mt. Holly. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
